I am so excited to announce that I am ALMOST ready to re-release the EP named after the title track “Holding a Heart”!! I have been wanting to do this for a while, and now I am finally able to bring this project into the Toby Lightman world. I am so excited to announce my first online show through Stage It! For those of you who don’t know, Stage It is an online venue that allows musicians to stream LIVE, super intimate concerts often from their homes, or in my case, my NYC apartment. It’s a great platform for me to finally play for so many of you who I haven’t seen in a while. I have missed you all so much and am so looking forward to playing for you again!

Aside from playing for all of you amazing people, the inspiration for this show is the victims of Hurricane Sandy. As a New Yorker, I want to do my part for my amazing city and home for the past 13 years. Living uptown, I was out of harm’s way, but so many of my native New Yorkers lost so much. Let’s help them out by giving what you can! It all helps!

Hey kids! You guessed it.. I got hitched! Tied the knot. Took the plunge. Jumped the broom. Hooked up the ball and chain. I can’t think of any others.. It was a magical weekend and I’ll post pics as soon as I can organize the mass amounts of photos taken by friends and fam… So by early next year..

In the meantime, it’s onward and upward. Gotta get this new album off the ground. Folks, I’m gonna be real.. This is my best album yet. I’m so excited about it, I could pee myself.  There will be no hurdles in my way, I’m making it my ‘thirdlife’ goal to get as many peeps to hear it as I can. So let’s make a pact.. Let’s do this together.. Koombaya.  I’ve got some ideas that I’m gonna throw at you over the next few weeks and I hope you’re down to go down this road together. I have the greatest fans and I know with your help, we can take over the world. So as a married lady, I say,  Let’s get back to basics! Let good music prevail!

I have two shows coming up (with more to come I hope!) and I’d love to see you there. I’ve worked hard at putting together a kickass band and I think you’ll be very happy with the outcome. So come on down to the Price is Right!  This is the showcase showdown! (it’s late…)
